偵查前高官馮程淑儀案，當時原是《香港01》「做先」，發現其與女商人陳婉玉換樓，《蘋果》其後跟進揭發其丈夫馮永業與陳氏的地下情關係，發現他獲授權代表陳氏公司於買賣文件上簽名。「《蘋果》那時追得好快，他們都會有他們的方法，去做一些我們做唔到的事，例如掌握了香港飛去澳門的直升機名單，有人俾佢哋，找得到馮永業和她一齊搭直升機的記錄，那天頭版就贏了」。

雖然香港創新創業生態系統還有着各種短板，但發掘自身優勢，利用已有的基礎，吸收先進創新地區如美國矽谷、以色列、深圳的成功經驗，在傳統產業上進行革新化創業，引導多樣化創業模式，帶動周邊城市加強區域化創新，才是利用香港作為大都會應走的創業之路。香港創業不強調高科技，不講求從零到一顛覆性的創新模式，香港模式需要尋求新論述，這論述可能會是大都會創業。
