Google出500萬美元救報業 你有冇計仔？
早兩日，Google宣布將出資500萬元推動數位新聞，其中有100萬美元用於美國本土，另外100萬美元用於「Knight News Challenge」這個接受全球參賽者的挑戰賽，截止日期是2010年12月1日。至於餘下的300萬美元也用於其他國家，有關詳情於明年公佈。
關於那個「Knight News Challenge」，任何人，任何地方，不管是北京的高中生或紐約的企業主管都可以參加。不限年齡，在世界任何地方，參加者甚至不需要滿18歲。其網站以「不在於你是誰，只在於你有什麼想法」來形容這個挑戰賽。睇返2010年既勝出者，總數有12個，獲得最多資金的CityTracking得到40萬美元。
