Generative AI is gaining popularity, and now it’s possible to become a manga artist with just a smartphone. Shueisha, Japan’s largest comprehensive publishing company, launched a simple creation tool called World Maker on Wednesday in the local Apple App Store and Google Play Store. With this tool, users can input dialogues and a brief plot summary, select backgrounds, characters, and other materials, and create a manga in as little as 10 minutes.
