Chinese AI giant iFlytek is setting up its international HQ in Hong Kong, positioning the city as a key bridgehead for its global expansion. The company is introducing Cantonese-language AI tools in healthcare, education, and office automation. Its AI “doctor assistant” has already supported over a billion medical consultations in China. iFlytek also signed an MoU with HKU to further AI education integration and plans real-time subtitle and office assistant features for Hong Kong’s Legislative Council.
