Mainland China’s AI usage has skyrocketed, with daily token consumption surging from 100 billion in early 2024 to over 30 trillion by mid-2025 — a 300x increase. Most AI models now use over 60% Chinese-language data. Combined with 4.55 million 5G base stations and more than 35,000 high-quality datasets, China’s digital infrastructure is scaling rapidly to support AGI development.
